When Justin isn’t selling Ardiri Pinot Noir, you can find him skiing in Lake Tahoe, mountain biking in Utah, or working at FARM in the Carneros Inn in Napa. He is currently studying to take the first section of the Sommelier exam. We feel Justin is destined for great things!

Yes, she’s Justin’s Mom! Gail, one of the winemakers, also loves to ski, when she’s not working as a DNA technologist. She really put her blood, sweat, and tears into the production of 2006 Ardiri Pinot Noir. She helped in every aspect and claims her hands touched every single bottle of the 560 cases produced! You can find Gail on the tractor at the vineyard most mornings before work!

Linda was hired in mid-November to help launch and market Ardiri Pinot Noir. She runs the administrative office in Hercules and has enjoyed learning more about the wine industry. She has been instrumental in entering the wine into several competitions and gaining exposure for the brand. Linda lives in Crockett with her husband of 30 years and loves doting on her 2 grandchildren. She likes to spend summer days at Lake Berryessa water skiing.

John, the other winemaker, represents the Sicilian of the pair. He has been trained in the field of pathology, laboratory medicine and molecular diagnostics, as his full-time job, practicing for over 25 years; However, he appreciates the stability and natural beauty of working in the 5 acre Carneros vineyard - pruning, spraying, and tending the vines. He is constantly “on the go” at work and in the vineyard but still finds time to cook old family and traditional Italian recipes whenever possible.

While our name may not currently “roll-off your tongue”, our goal is to have Ardiri become one of the wines you ask for when making a selection at a favorite wine shop, club, or restaurant.
